Tivoli Oriente Lisboa Hotel

Parque das Nações / Waterfront, Lisbon 🇵🇹

Published September 2, 2026

Overview

A modern hotel directly by Oriente Station in Parque das Nações, the flat, waterfront district built for Expo 98. An outdoor pool, the Lisbon Oceanarium ten minutes away, and a riverside promenade right outside make this a genuinely family-friendly alternative to the hilly historic centre.

Alexandra's take

Everyone tells you about the seven hills; nobody tells you what they do to a stroller. Parque das Nações is the flat, modern counter-argument, and with the Oceanarium a short walk away you have an entire day sorted before you have left the hotel.

Family features

🏊Pool🚇Near metro
  • Outdoor pool for warm-weather relaxation
  • Lisbon Oceanarium a 10-minute walk — one of Europe's largest, a natural family day out
  • Oriente Station adjacent, combining metro, train, and bus in one hub, with the historic centre a 15-minute metro ride
  • Flat riverside promenade right outside — an easier walk than the historic centre's hills and cobblestones

What we love

A real outdoor pool plus the Oceanarium on the doorstep, in the one part of Lisbon that's genuinely flat and stroller-friendly.

Perfect for

Families who'd rather trade Old Town bustle for a flat, modern waterfront base with a pool and an easy day out built in.

Getting around

  • Oriente Station adjacent
  • Lisbon Oceanarium ~10 min walk
