Prague Castle and Malá Strana sit on a hill with real inclines and steps; Wenceslas Square and New Town, across the river, are flatter and easier going.
Prague's tram network is dense and reaches places the three metro lines don't — worth checking tram stops near a hotel, not just metro distance.
